You might not expect to find poison ivy in Manhattan, but there it was, a big mess of it, growing on the wall of Central Park, right along 5th Avenue!

I have seen poison ivy in vacant lots in parts of New York City, but was surprised to see it had escaped the attention of the garden crew of Central Park.

While we were examining it, a very nice New York woman came running up to make sure we didn’t touch it!
